Family

Our “Oberegger Alm” is the perfect location for your entire family.
Whether on foot or by car – your destination provides a relaxing, peaceful and traditional setting with homemade dishes from our kitchen.

While grown-ups can enjoy the sunny terrace or one of our comfy rooms inside, children can play outside on the playground away from traffic and noise.

The playground and trampoline can be seen from the terrace.

The surrounding forest or a peaceful walk in the woods offers relaxation and serenity.

Walks

All roads lead to Rome … but only one to us!
After a long walk we will pamper you with our homemade and traditional meals and reward you with a magnificent view of the Dolomites, the Upper Pustervalley and the “Rieserferner” mountain range.

Suggestion for Walks

Starting-point “Geiselsberg”

Parking:
Village centre of Geiselsberg

Directions:
From the church in Geiselsberg you walk on route 3 straight to our Oberegger Alm.

Time:
40 minutes walk

For Variation:
walk on the tarmac road past Hotel “Kristall” towards the district-heating-works and follow the road for roughly one mile to our place. The road is suitable for buggies and pushchairs.

Mountain Bike

You can also reach us with your mountain bikes.
Take the road from Olang towards Gassl (bottom station of the cable car), from there you continue to “Bad Bergfall” (2 km), shortly before the guesthouse you follow the signs to Geiselsberg (2 km). Once you arrive in Geiselsberg turn left after the subway and follow the tarmac road for 2 km past Hotel Kristall and the district-heating-works until you finally reach our Oberegger Alm.
From our place the road continues to the summit of the Kronplatz for another 7 km.

Alternative:

Alternatively, you can take the cable car from the main station Gassl/Olang and in 14 minutes you will reach the top of the Kronplatz; from there you follow the walk to Oberegger Alm, where a delicious dish of homemade pasta awaits you.

Horse Riding

You are also welcome with your horse. While you can enjoy the tranquillity of our place, your horse can rest in our paddock.
