The heart of our hut is the kitchen – we endeavor in exploring new dishes and continuously search for old and almost forgotten traditional recipes.
Sabine, the owner, directs our mountain-restaurant with a hardworking team, delivering our guests wholesome products and homemade specialities from our farm and local area.
The beef we provide mainly derives from our “Pinzgauer” cattle, which only have the best grass and herbs on their menu. Pinzgauer cows are known to have excellent meat quality and perfect marbling, which we can only approve.
Our unfertilized mountain meadows supply us with organic herbs and flowers – our forest with mushrooms and wild berries, bestowing upon our dishes vitality and life.
We only provide you with food which we like ourselves and are convinced of: You will find a personal touch in all of our dishes varying from homemade pasta, an innovative “Kalbshaxe”, traditional dumpling dishes with “Sauerkraut” to homemade apricot-dumplings and “Krapfen”, traditional snacks and finally our famous “Zirmertorte”.
